This is as expected.

There are homophobic bigots within the church, and if they want to split, they would be free to do so.

I would think that those bigots that rejected homosexuals in Church would look just as bad as racial Church leaders and church goers when racism was strong within the Church.

Now, I wouldn't expect anyone would accept a church banning people of different races from their church door.

And the same would be true for homosexuals. Homosexuals are the new Blacks.
