Everything has two sides...Good insight! In that case, you may say that everything has two sides, a good side and an evil side, that co-exist. The all-powerful and all-loving God just created them or let them happen as-is. It is human perception which appraises each incidence as good or evil. For example, having food to eat is good. But if you are forced to eat some more when you are very full towards the end of a buffee dinner is torture. Another example. Explosives are neutral. Explosives used in terrorist attacks become evil. Explosives used to construct a tunnel become good. When probed deeper, I come to the conclusion that all living organisms classify environmental stimuli into favourable stimuli and noxious stimuli. They move toward favourable stimuli such as food and away from noxious stimuli such as toxic substances. They do so for survival. Human beings, as a member of the animal kingdom, inherited this essential ability to classify environmental stimuli as "good" or "bad" so that they can take appropriate actions to aid survival. An environmental object or phenomenon is neutral, "good" or "bad" only exist when there are human beings to judge them. Stellar collisions occurring in outer space are neutral events.
