If we talk about "contaminations"... then we can inquire about the whole process of the formation and transmission (and selection and acceptance) of the Canonical Gospels, IN ORDER THAT the level of purity can be ascertained... Right ? There could have been similar kinds of distortions, twistings, or contaminations of Jesus' Teachings... in Mark's, Luke's, Matthew's and John's accounts, if one agrees that Paul would likewise induce contaminations...

Suddenly, I think of the Gospel of Thomas... Recently, a greater interest has been paid to it... which alleged to contain Jesus' teachings.
