Winged horse's departure came as a relief to the Queen. She despised being followed, even if the foal did adore her...and Ziraga it seemed. Never, was she, a babysiter, and now she recollects how little a mother she was and still is.

A sigh, as her eyes pertake her sons, both deprived of parents. Her fault. "Tarquin, Bob..."

A pause, as her sides battle. One for duty, sarcastic and radical. The other for motherhood, caring and sweet.

One at a time...? Maybe not.

"Anything interesting while I was away?"

Is that all you have to say, Mother? The remark, so filled with self-pity, sounded cold even to his own mental ears. But then, his eyes sought out the golden one's by their own initative, and their bearer mentally cringed at what was seen within - however little.

Looking away, to the ground where his claws lay seemingly calm and composed, the young dragon finally manages to force an answer through his numb lips.

"No, nothing. But Bob can tell you better than I." His attention is caught, for he had heard an unusual sound in the suddenly confining and echoing lair of his mother's. "Excuse me... please..." Turning, he disappeared into the shadows as he moved upwards and away from the three.
