Looking away, to the ground where his claws lay seemingly calm and composed, the young dragon finally manages to force an answer through his numb lips.

"No, nothing. But Bob can tell you better than I." His attention is caught, for he had heard an unusual sound in the suddenly confining and echoing lair of his mother's. "Excuse me... please..." Turning, he disappeared into the shadows as he moved upwards and away from the three.

COnfusion claimed the proud aurora, as her eyes betook the image of her departing son. Had she done wrong in her words...probably, but her mind does not dwell in the past. It had for many years, claiming her life...in more than one fashion.

"Pardon me as well," says she, though her direction did not follow Tarquin's.
