In reply to: Jesar 's message, "Tarquin? [Brushy here]" on 19:42:23 11/15/02 Fri

Perhaps it was Jesar's comforting touch, or possibly the fact that, now face to face with such a powerful animal, Brushy realized that fear would be no use to her. Whatever the reason, her bright eyes met the dragons and sizzled with curiosity. The connection between the two males was not apparent to her; she could see no similarities aside from the wings that both carried. "Hallo Tarquin," she greeted cheerfully. "This place is..." she struggled for a word to accurately describe her currant feelings, "intoxicating."

He had about as much curiousity as she, tilting his head to one side with a friendly smile. "You mean gloomy and depressing. If you say otherwise the residents might just take offense - sometimes I think that some of us even take pride in our morbid surroundings." Tarquin tightly folded his wings along the length of his back. The protectiveness Jesar felt for his "girlfriend" was obvious, and obviously meant to be obvious. The bronze prince might have smiled; except he wished not to offend his guests. On the other hand, he had no qualms about insulting himself and his peer-dragons.
