His breed is a Tailus dragon and always has been, but I'd like to add a mini-power to the breed:
Tailus dragons are air and water oriented mainly, tending to be very adept in both elements, though in certain areas some will actually live underwater and be able to breathe it, whereas others will live high in the mountains in eyries where they spend the majority of their time on the wing.
Bob is more of the second type- his family lived in a small eyrie and were of the air type. Occasionally a Tailus dragon of water or air will have special talent in their chosen element; they can almost control it, to an extent. Thus if permitted, Bob will be able to have minor control over the air- wind and weather patterns (I stress, minor!), which he will mainly use to aid his flying but also occasionally for dramatic effect. He could make a little breeze blow if there was none, if there was a breeze make it a little stronger, and if there was strong wind make it a bit stronger still. He would have no effect on storms or other very powerful weather patterns until he had reached a great age, and even then he would influence them subtly; just controlling their paths a little. And he can only do these things when he's actually flying in/around the weather patterns themselves.
