- You won't have to worry about a dress dragging the ground cause you will be the one dragging far behind me. This race is for 10000 to win so my thinking was how nice it would be for the texas boys to contribute some money to me or my friends just as long as the money comes back to Alabama. My car was just finished and I was building it to run KOTH and they changed to small tires just before the season started. I am so glad this organization stepped up and let people who want to go fast run their cars without all of this political bullshit lets just race. Sounds like KOTH is on their way out since the cars have slowed down considerably and the same car has won three out of four races. Seems as if that class just wants to change rules in mid stream to cars that cost serious money to build in the first place. To me someone is only as good as their word and KOTH dosent seem to be going to heaven. So I would be happy to race with the fast cars since my car can run 4.50 all day in the heat and humidity of Lousiana. So beware alligater gonna get ya.

In the outset of the whole Texas Pro Backhalf Association the purpose was to give everyone a choice to run what they wanted. Koth has 10.5s they have no limit. Now this whole thing has turned into a Kenny Barnes bashing contest. For what because he wants to race the way he set out to, for the past two years ya'll have called him out and now that he is wanting to run ya'll under the same rules first set by Koth all you can do is talk SHIT! Some of the people doing all the shit talking is the same people he was nice enough to help when they needed it.Some are the ones that Kenny helped out by opening their eyes to the bad doings of the past ownership.The same ones that said if Koth was owned by anyone than they where done. Who ownes it now? There is alot of good people in Koth and just because they want to run on small tires dont make eveyone else bad people. I think ya'll have got the talk down now all you have to do is get the walk down. Look at all that money sitting out there for the taking.You all cried last year that Kenny could not win in his his own car,this is your chance...step up, what no balls? All in all ya'll voted to level the playing field, to run slower times, and to have all that great side by side slow ass racing action. If this is what Ya'll really want then why do you keep coming over here and posting all of you crap. If people are over here maybe its because they want real outlaw back half racing. All of yall have Kennys number if you would like to futher this conversation call him he will give you my number. And yes I do work for Kenny Barnes and Barnes Motorsports. Texas Pro Backhalf Association would like to take the time to extinguish the animosity being thrown around on the message boards. We �TPBA� have no intent of being the �bad guy�. We wish KOTH the best of luck, and in turn would like to say that we do not foster any harsh or derogatory feelings toward their organization. We wish you a successful year. To some extent controversy can be a �ticket seller.� However, we wish to promote TPBA in a positive light and hope that we can count on KOTH to act in the same manner.

I was ready to race come may first, then lots of new rules pop up. Whats up with that? These rules sound alot like SOMEONE went out in the garage looked at their car and wrote some rules, everyone else be damned. What was wrong with the rules as they were first posted? Someone get scared of a few unnamed cars and wanted to exclude them? Well as far as I am concerned I will go play on another playground, the TPBA can shove the whole operation in their back half!

On behalf of The Texas Pro Backhalf Association we would like to welcome everyone to our new website. Although up and running for your enjoyment we still have many new and exciting things still to add.

This association was built because of an unmet need created by KOTH and we are prepared to take our organization to a level never seen before in traditional backhalf racing. Our events will be second to none and we will be the new benchmark for big tire organizations nationally with the biggest $$$$ payouts of $10,000 to the winner starting with May 1, 2004 and June 5, 2004 at Denton Dragway. With future race dates to be announced.

At this time we would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who's efforts made this happen. Without the dedication from all those involved and the support and generosity from our sponsors we would not be able to officially announce the establishment of the Biggest and Baddest Big Tire Association.

Our association will be run by Mr. Mike Adcock as President, Mrs. Sharon Adcock as Secretary/Treasurer, Mr. Sammy Lattner as Vice President in charge of Racing Operations, and Mr. Bryan McCollister as Promotional Consultant.

We look forward to a season of exciting extreme levels of racing competition. We hope to see lots of new faces and cars as well as all our old favorites.
