There was so many fine dining places going back to the 40s...50s...etc...

The Beau Rivage was always at the top of some folks list...So was The Pine Tree Inn...a family favorite...many stories to tell about it... Ship Lantern Inn is still in business...even The Palatine Hotel was "the place" in the 40s...

A whole book chapter could be written about the Italian places...Tony's...Grassi's...Peppy's was for Pizza not dinner...years later the Grandstand was Mushy's place to go...
