I wish all you out-of-towners could see how beautiful Snake Hill looks right now. The colors are absolutely gorgeous! I remember a few years ago when I mentioned Snake Hill on this board, Richard Kaiser asked me what the heck I was smoking!!!! He said he never heard of a place called Snake Hill in Newburgh. Poor little rich kid! Can you imagine being raised right here and never having climbed Snake Hill? One time, when Richard was visiting us, Joe and I took him over to see Snake Hill and we told him about all the fun we had there when we were growing up. We also took him the see where The Creeper used to make it's run. He said he may have had more in the way of material things but we obviously had more fun growing up in 'the burgh'!!
Sorry...I got carried away with memories after seeing the beautiful colors on our old 'playground', Snake Hill......
