 Hey, who wants to enjoy a blast from the past with me? We're kids again, and we have no aches or pains, no arthritis, no diabetes, no worries and no cares, except having fun. It's winter vacation from school. There is just enough snow on all the great hills in the area for perfect sledding. We could all get out our old Flexible Flyers and meet at Downing Park, or maybe, down in New Windsor, we could meet at the Epiphany College hill! After we get tired of sledding we could grab our skates and go ice skating at the Delano Hitch skating rink or back to the Polly at Downing Park. If we go to The Polly, we need to bring our own hot chocolate from home because they sell that lukewarm, watered down goop at the hothouse there! Remember how those hot houses smelled of wet wool socks and sweaty kids as we got out of our skates and back into our snow boots for the long walk back home? Ahh such good times!
How many of you would give all you have to go back to those times for just one day? I sure would!
Okay, back to the present now........I need to go take my medicine and I could use a nap! All that remembering made me sleepy!
