 If there was only 1 railroad station in Newburgh, I remember my dad and I taking Grandpa and my cousin back to Long Island where they lived. I can't remember if we had to change trains trains in NYC or not, hey I was about 6 or 7.Then my cousin had the measles so we had to stay on Long Island for a week. I know we rode the train back to Newburgh.

Another trip dad took us on was a train trip to Buffalo, I remember eating in the dining car.

Now I am so sick of trains, we have at least 150 freight trains going thru town every day and they never stop blowing the horns from one end to the other. They can wake you up all hours of the night.
