Being out here for over 48 yrs. I donot remember where Tompkins Cove is, but I do remember seeing a lot of old Naval ships in the Hudson River as we rode up 9W. It was really some sight. As far as fishing goes we went to a restaurant one night and I asked for a nice tasting fish, when it came out with the eyes looking up at me I told the girl to take it back and remove the head.

The only fresh fish I like is Lake Erie perch but it is so expensive. It does not have the taste of ocean perch which taste too fishy.
I'll even go for a can of water packed tuna.
