Subject: 莫兄另外一點提得好是鞍匠井近年在歐洲的子嗣已不及前幾年是一個事實,畢竟年事已高,古摩亞牧場(Coolmore Stud)當然不會坐以待斃,已將幾年前的名駒轉作Stallions,而今年已見收成,像2/7的日蝕大賽Motivator對沙馬爾度,已被眾馬友視作望族(Motivator)及巨人長堤(沙馬爾度)的後代之戰.事實上在一對望族之子Motivator及Walk In The Park包辦葉森DERBY連贏,再加上Hurricane Run,古摩亞已將望族列作Private(私有),一如其父鞍匠井肥水不流別人田,反而巨人長堤仍有列出配種費,愚見古摩亞覺得望族一如鞍匠井般配出2400米好馬較有把握,也意味鞍匠井已接班有馬.而粗略計過岳伯仁仍以鞍匠井及暴風貓(Storm Cat)子嗣作主力,是成績不及早年的其中一個原因,至少今年英國二千堅尼替他建功的Footstepsinthesand已是出自巨人長堤,岳伯仁今年的成績一定比上季好(其實是上季太差),但如要重拾早年的光輝,就必須要找出突破之策了

更正:再看古摩亞望族未被列作PRIVATE,但已留在愛爾蘭,沒有安排他到南半球.相信如保持現時成績,喜德寶怕且會是最後一批南半球望族子嗣 (NT)Lincoln
