據小弟所知,傳統上Sussex Stakes是英國三歲及年長一哩馬王馬后爭奪之一場季中大賽. 但在Racecard上看不見Dubawi,Ratki等名駒名字,總覺小了點東西似的! 肯好的是,還有一匹上屆此項錦標盟主一哩馬后Soviet Song在陣,它已贏出多場一級賽,上仗Falmount Stakes(在傷腳後)跑回水準,留著後衝一段輕易勝出,現成為兩點幾倍大熱是當然正選,不過始終傷患是它最大隱憂! 另外,小弟自己喜歡Chic及Proclamation(尤是後駒). 前駒是近季級際賽常客,演出尚算準繩,三甲可一屆. 後駒在Jersey Stakes (Royal Ascot)後追上來,贏來超級同impressive,三歲馬相信仍在進步中,今仗更有靳能aboard, Soviet Song想再奪此錦標,必要過它這一關!     愚弟忙於求婚事宜,所以連這場歐洲一哩大賽也無法寫愚見.幸好KK兄補上一筆且目光如炬,蘇維埃曲(Soviet Song)果然以半馬位輸給Proclamation而衛冕失敗.Ad Valorem在蘇維埃曲兩個半馬位後跑第三.Dubawi及威樂星等留待之後與Divine Proportion在法國的Prix Jacque Le Marois碰頭而缺席今仗,幸有新星Feel的Proclamation,總算不是賽前預測蘇維埃曲單騎表演般平淡 (NT)Lincoln
