Subject: 過去六年此大賽只由三位練馬師(蘇萊(Saeed Bin Suroor),岳伯仁及岳斯),兩位騎師(靳能及戴圖理各贏三屆),三位馬主(高多芬團體,古摩亞牧場及阿加汗)包辦,而他們正是歐洲平地賽馬三大勢力.但今年的盟主必是新騎師,因靳能受傷,由蘇銘倫代替出策愛什麼作衛冕戰,而戴圖理則出戰同日另一場一級賽聖烈治大賽.
