Subject: Yeah I know we won't get 100% compliance 100% of the time. That's the way it goes right? But, do look at the class rules... there aren't that many at all. I don't see where there ought to be a situation where any of us are very far apart on the safety thing. Furthermore, it was not an issue at all this season. I do not advocate letting someone field a car that is obviously unsafe. I do not advocate sending someone home who has driven several hours just because his seat belts are expired either. There is plenty of room here for us to go back and forth. But, if a team is presenting a car that is obviously not safe, we're going to have to say something. I don't think there are too many cars that are going to fit into that category very often at all. But, again... at the end of the day it's about safety guys. Call me, I want to hear from you! I am very much interested in talking to you.

I remember back in ,I think it was 2002, the word got out that a NHRA tec was going to be at a promod race, and things got right. You never seen the like of paper license and brand new seatbelts...

[> [> Sorry Gilbert but you just said you would not send some one home so why would they get the seat belt renewed or buy a diaper or a driving suit thats up to date or a chassie cer sticker. Where were the diaper last year when one pearon keep oiling down the track and not only in ots but they did in topma also. I do rember sever of your racers saying they didnt want to run behind him. -- just wondering Gilbert, 06:58:38 11/13/10 Sat [1]
