Subject: Reply to motor only is hard to dial in. Its easy to add or subtract a few pounds to run a 4.705. No rocket science there. I heard moser changes the angle of the rear wing to dial it in. Ive changed the air pressure in the tires to adjust ET before. How hard could it be?
In reply to: Motor only sure is hard to dial-in. 's message, "Kent is not the first one to run 4.70 straight motor...and not going to be the last either. Moser has it figured out now with a 500 in engine. Thomas has run a 60 something without nitrous in the good air with a 565. Scott Randall ran OTS with some success a few years ago straight motor and I think his was about 600 inches. I don't know where exactly this is headed, but Kent's engine in Eddie's car would be lucky to run a 5.00. Eveybody's combo is different to make it work. We will see how all this works out by looking at the points standings at the end of next year." on 08:17:37 09/28/10 Tue
