Subject: Licensing regulations

I'm researching an update for a book on English for the radio amateur which is published in Germany by Funkamateur Verlag, and came across your excellent summary of the dog's breakfast called the UK amateur radio licensing regulations. Sincere thanks for all the work you've put into this. What the authorities have come up with over the years is unbelieveably complex and absolutely illogical! It's interesting when you talk to people at the RSGB, Ofcom and RLC - they all admit there's no one, single person knows what the full picture with licensing right now is (let alone what the proposed changes will bring). And we used to run an Empire?!
