I am currently using 2 multi standard CB's:

The Intek 490 and the Midland 48 Excel Multi

Not much between them.

The Midland looks better and has an analogue signal meter. The Intek has an LCD signal meter, but the channel change is in a better place on the Intek.

The Intek works well with a power mic but the midland does not.

I tend to use the Midland in the house and the Intek in the car.

Build quality is good on both sets.
