And this rush of sensation goes through my body. She's right, of course. There is this little protective edge to my demeanor that comes out in my communications as a little stiff. Later, I am realizing that this is one way that I am protecting myself from the sensation of jealousy. It has me keep myself seperated from her.

I then start to think how often I do this. How I keep myself just a little seperate from the people I love because I don't want to feel an emotion. Either anger, jealousy, angst, or, most intensely, complete and utter love.
