Thank you for reminding me of all the blessed possibilities that we have in consciously choosing to bring children into this world. These are dear topics to me as well because I want to procreate in a very conscious way and have that not be tied to any fantasies of living happily ever after in a romance with someone else. I was very close to doing it with my housemate and her girlfriend last year and I guess I'm thankful that I didn't because their happily ever after romance fell apart in a very hot and sticky way. For the record, I did say "wet" and sticky, not hot, but it doesn't matter. Your messages have reminded me of all the other paths that people are choosing and even opened me up the slightest smidgeon to the possibility that a couple thousand years ago a woman named Mary split her ovum and created a dude named Jesus without any help from a dude named Joseph. Although, actually, could a boy be the result of this splitting egg? Of course, If you believe in this dude called Jehovah, I suppose anything is possible. Personally, I think that the experience of God(dess) is nothing more than an interaction of chemicals in our brains. Don't get me wrong though, I think this chemical reaction is so profound and so beautiful that it is worth building monuments to and writing songs about and living life in accordance with - but not fighting wars over, telling each other what is moral and what is not, or what they can do with their own bodies.
