The Taboo course Saturday scraped another small layer off of my protective wall. Thanks to everyone who was there. I still have a long way to go, but I'm enjoying the journey.
It brought my reflexive defensiveness into the spotlight and into sharp enough focus that even I had to acknowledge it. That was worth the price of admission alone. And the company of all those good people was priceless. I'm only sorry I can't spend more time with you all.

Side note to Raquel: - I saw the movie you recommended - "What the Bleep do we know?" Thanks for recommending it. When it's out on DVD it should be played non-stop at the One Taste center. It's an interesting attempt to explain how we really do create our own reality. I'd like to know more about some of the statements - like the claim that the structure of water can be affected by words taped to the side of the bottle that holds it - - that stretches my credulity (well, actually it plays into my skepticism - credulous I'm not) . . . OK, I won't take up more space with a movie review, but I do recommend that movie to one and all. The acting is weak and it begins with a focus on physics, but it soon moves on to human behavior, and it has some interesting things to say about it.

Raquel - the movie I was trying to recommend is "Napoleon Dynamite" - - Einstein had nothing to do with it.
