The Vampiress who haunted paradise

She had once gambled and frolicked
in the devils playground
now she haunted paradise
She would soon meet her destiny
face to face.
In a vampire of a different sort.
He was a man who hungered for the night
and the full moon.
He was a man who fed off the sexual
energy of his lovers.

She walked in the shadows of the darkness thru the valley of death.
She was of the Clan of Fangs the last of her breed.
She fored the Coven of Woval.
Her name was and is Karana Lavow.
Of the Coven of Woval was another Vampiress Cynthia Vaupil.

At the paradise hotel a police detective was investigating an apparent
homicide. The detective Dieter Kline had seen this all before as a child.
A body ravaged and mauled with bite marks. The bed sheets soaked with blood.
The victim was identified as Miranda Garcia.

Dieter was five years old and about to leave his small town in Germany to a new
life in paradise when he saw this kind of Carnage the 1st time. His Grandfather
told him it was the work of a vampire bent on revenge.
One of his lovers had cheated on him. He was driven to a jealous rage. He killed
the lover and the boyfriend. He drove a stake taht was meant for him thru the
boyfriends heart. The same thing had happened this time as he was investigating
Miranda Garcia's death. Dieter got a call and was told Miranda's boyfriend was dead
with a stake thru his heart. The 2nd victims name was Rex Walker.
Paradise had become a Vampires haven with all the Caves and hidden Caverns in its
mountain region. The news of the murders traveled fast.
World Renowned Vampire hunter Abraham Hawkins
ventured to Paradise.

Dieter Kline had two partners on this case.
His long time partner Derek Forrest and a new detective named Tanya Price
a vivacious and sensual beauty who was also very hard nosed.
Abraham Hawkins brought his lover Vanessa Duckworth who was also a vampire expert
with him.

Paradise had been a quiet Haven for Vampires for many years.
Now it was turning into a hunting ground and the vampires were the hunted.
Karana Lavow and Cynthia Vaupil began their own investigation into these dispicable
crimes. They had been committed by a Rogue Vampire who was not part of any Clan or
Coven.

Both Karana and Cynthia wanted to know the identity of this mysterious man
who fed off the sexual energy of his lovers. They wondered if he could be
some other species of Vampire, a kindred Spirit who craved the energy of his lovers,
instead of their blood.
Though they did not know of him yet. His name was Mark Lanier.
He hung out after midnight when the moon was full down by the Paradise hotel Pool.
He was joined by his long time friend Malcolm Barnes on these nights.
Mark Lanier and Malcolm Barnes tended to keep a low profile. They had many business
ventures and were two very creative souls.

Karana Lavow was in her dojo training. She was a vampiress of the samurai.
Her dojo was across the street from a bar called the Gothic Enclave.
THe owner of the bar was Dee Foster.
Ray James was a P.I. in Paradise. A private investigator who always seemed
to get strange cases.
The families of Miranda Garcia and Rex Walker hired him to investigate
their mysterious and violent deaths.
Ray James was good friends with Derek Forrest who was Dieter Kline's Partner.
James had worked closely with the Authorities on many cases.
When he wasn't working as a P.I. James Tended bar at the gothic enclave.

The Mayor of Paradise Craig Tillis was out on the town with is lover The Baroness
Rita Von Kramer.

The Baron Von Kramer was killed 10 years ago in an auto accident when his car went off a
cliff.
He had been attacked by his wife's lover. Who just so happened to be a vampire.
The Mayor was about to ask the Baroness to be his wife.
Someone was stalking the mayor and the Baroness as they lay together on one of paradise's
secluded beaches.

Derek Forrest, Dieter Kline, and Tanya Price all had a meeting with Police captain
Victor Cofield.
WIth them were Abraham Hawkins and Vanessa Duckworth.
They discussed a plan to find the murderous demon that was plaguing the citizens
of Paradise.
As they were discussing the findings in the case so far Dieter Kline had a thought
to inquire to the german authorities about the body he had found as a child and if
there had been any other murders.
This he brought up during the meeting.
Meanwhile as the meeting continued in another part of paradise.

Still on a secluded beach were the Baroness Rita Von Kramer and the mayor Craig Tillis.
It was approaching midnight. Out of the shadows came a figure. He was a figure the
Baroness recognized. One of her former lovers. Before she could react the mayor
was dead with a stake thru his heart. For some reason he let her live.
The meeting that was taking place between the police detectives, their captain
and the vampire hunter was abruptly ended when news of the mayors death came
across the police scanner.

When they arrived on the beach detective Dieter Kline saw the Baroness kneeling
next to the mayors body.
He saw the stake in his heart.

Dieter Kline- who did this?

Baroness Rita Von Kramer- The same man who killed my husband the Baron!
He was once my lover. A jealous man who had a strange hold on me.
He's a vampire by the name of Ivan Barth.

Dieter Kline- He has killed before. But why didn't he kill you?

Baroness Rita Von Kramer- I don't know? to torture me!!

Ivan Barth was a rogue vampire who had no allegiances or alliances but that was soon
to change. There were others who had been jilted by lovers and had done nothing.
Though they had wanted to. Three would seek out Ivan Barth.

THe 1st was a fledgling vampiress Denise Gravestone.
She found Barth taking care of another of his former acquaintances Carla Furst.
Denise watched in awe of his skill and was intrigued and drawn to the mysterious
and already infamous Ivan Barth.

When he had finished she slowly approached him.
He spun around
ready to strike.
His fangs engorged with the blood of his victim.

Ivan Barth- Who are you?
I could have easily have killed you right where you stand.

Denise Gravestone- I am Denise Gravestone. As you can see I am a vampiress.
I admire your work and convictions. I wish to join you.
I know others who wish to join you as well.
You need friends or at least allies.
For your enemies will come after you and hunt you down.

Ivan Barth- Let them come.

Denise Gravestone- They know who you are. Why did you let that Baroness woman live?

Ivan Barth- I had my reasons. But who said I let her live? I have other plans for her.
I am saving her for last.

Denise Gravestone- I know of two other vampires who wish to join you.

Ivan Barth- I never intended to fomr my own army. But it does sound like a good
idea. I will turn paradise into my Kingdom. All who oppose me whall burn in the suns
ultraviolet light.

Two others joined Ivan Barth at his hidden Lair in a cave hidden behind a waterfall.
The two who joined him were Ramses Barrow and Delgado Huet.
Ivan Barth was targeting to other victims Hanna Boyd adn Sarah Truitt.

Mark Lanier and Malcolm Barnes picked up two single girls at a club.
They just happened to be Hanna Boyd and Sarah Truitt.
They were being watched by Virgil Morgan he was a vampire who had been sent
to look after Hanna Boyd and Sarah Truitt in case Ivan Barth should show up.
Morgan was sent by Karana Lavow. She was watching from the distance along with
Cynthia Vaupil.
They watched, they listened and were intrigued.
They saw something special in both Mark Lanier and Malcolm Barnes. Karana was drawm
to Mark, and Cynthia to Malcolm.
They decided to leave the two of them alone this night for the two men were
otherwise engaged. Malcolm took Hanna to the beach and Mark took Sarah up to one
of the mountains that gave them a clear view of Paradise Below.

Mark and Sarah were followed by Virgil Morgan.
Malcolm Barnes and Hanna Boyd weren't so lucky. They were followed as well.
But they were followed by Denise Gravestone, Delgado Huet, and Ramses Barrow.
Hanna Boyd was kidnapped and Malcolm Barnes was tossed in the drink.

Hanna Boyd was brought to Ivan Barth and sacrificed.
While Virgil Morgan watched and recorded the exploits of Mark Lanier as he felt
the sexual energy in Sarah Truitt.

They slept peacefully together on the hillside as Virgil Morgan visited the Secluded
Sanctuary, paradise and Kingdom of Karana Lavow.

She watched the recording hungering to taste the flesh and feel the erotic energy
of Mark Lanier.
She watched and pleasured herself for the time being.

Malcolm Barnes survived the drink but was hospitalized.
Cynthia Vaupil visited him after midnight. She wanted to know him, she was
drawn to his essence, his aura, the look of enchantment and mystery in his eyes.
Cynthia was drawn to Malcolm the same wasy Karana was drawn to Mark.
Mark dropped Sarah Truitt back off at her apartment so he could go back home and
create. He could feel the energy flowing thru his body. He had decided to paint in
blacks, whites, reds, and yellows. He also chose silver and gold.

Ivan Barth himself was waiting in Sarah Truitts dark apartment when she arrived home.
Mark heard her screams but there was nothing he could have done. He was restrained
by Delgado Huet, and Ramses Barrow as Denise Gravestone went in for the kill.
But she was stopped by Karana Lavow and a catfight ensued shortly there after.
Virgil Morgan freed Mark from the clutches of Delgado Huet. Mark then fought free
of Ramses Barrow.
The police had just found the body of Hanna Boyd, when they recieved a 911 call about
the disturbances at an apartment complex at around 2 a.m.
Ivan Barth and his minions fled the scene.
Karana Lavow took Mark Lanier under her wing and brought him back to her
secluded Kingdom.
Virgil Morgan went with them.

Cynthia Vaupil left the hospital with a sleeping Malcolm Barnes the police were
baffled.
The Vampire hunter Abraham Hawkins and his lover a vampire expert Vanessa Duckworth
were not.

Dieter Kline knew Barth's next target was to be the Baroness Rita Von Kramer.

Malcolm Barnes awakened in a large cavern deep under a mountain.
He looked around and felt like he was in some kind of enchanted paradise.
He thought he was talking to himself, but he said it out loud not realizing it.

Malcolm Barnes- How did I get here? The last thing I remember was being in a
hospital bed? I must be dreaming.

Cynthia Vaupil- you are not dreaming, you are a guest in my home.

Malcolm Barnes- how did I get here and who are you?

Cynthia Vaupil- I brought you and my name is Cynthia. My friends and I have been
watching you. We have also been watching your friend Mark Lanier. We believe the
two of you are very special and a rare commodity in this day and age.

At Police headquarters

Dieter Kline, Tanya Price, Ray James, Vanessa Duckworth, Derek Forrest, Abraham
Hawkins and Police Captain Victor Cofiled were in a closed door meeting. They had
placed the Baroness RIta Von Kramer in protective custody.

Dieter Kline- we have placed Rita Von Kramer in protective custody. She has been
in protective custody since the mayor was killed. We have an epidemic on our
hands. Ivan Barth is no longer working alone. He has three partners who helped
him to kill both Hanna Boyd and Sarah Truitt.
We also have two men unaccounted for that were with Boyd and Truitt in their last
hours of life, Malcolm Barnes, and Mark Lanier.

In the Secluded Paradise of Karana Lavow

She sat in her private sanctuary wondering what to do with her guest.

Mark Lanier sat in another room in awe of the beauty. He could feel the seduction
as he took in a very intoxicating scent.
Karana Lavow entered the room.
Mark felt like he knew her. He was drawn to her. He longed and lusted to taste her and
make love to her.
She felt the same.
She felt his body against her own. She tasted his lips against hers.
She lusted to know his inner soul.
They were partners in crime, soulmates of desire.
They tasted a pure mixture of love and lust. Their bodies in heat, their souls
on fire. She wrapped her legs around him, pulling him closer to her and drawing him
deeper into her web of desire.
They both knew a reckoning was coming.
A Reckoning that threatened to tear apart the very fabric of Paradise.
She was a rock and roll goddess
Together they were the thread that kept paradise together.
He was very special to her.
But she knew that she could not protect him.
She needed to merge with him.
To give him something
that would change both their lives forever.
He could see the darkness in her eyes,
but he could also feel the love, and was ready to be accepted as a part of her.
He already felt like a vampire anyway.
The Night his kindred spirit for so many years.
His eyes sensitive to the light.
She gave to him a chance for an eternity in paradise.
He was now a true vampire.
Karana picked up her Katana Sword
and readied with her new found love
for a fight.
For the War that was to be fought
in the skies of paradise
on this night.

Malcolm Barnes
and Cynthia Vaupil also exchanged passions and desires.
But she was not ready to give Malcolm what
Karana had given to Mark Lanier.

Back at Police headquarters
Dieter Kline had finally
gotten some much needed information
from Germany.
In the years since he had left
15 women had been killed along with 16 men who
had been a part of their lives.
The one surviving woman
was the Baroness Rita Von Kramer

The Vampire huntger Abraham Hawkins
and his Lover Vanessa Duckworth
were questioning Rita Von Kramer
at a safehouse.
But the Safehouse had been compromised
and both Abraham Hawkins and Vanessa Duckworth
were left there to die.
Virgil Morgan tried to stop the carnage
but he could not stop
the Scourge of Ivan Barth
and his Minions of the night.
Rita von Kramer, Abraham Hawkins, Vanessa Duckworth,
and Virgil Morgan all felt the Unrelenting agony and pain
of Ivan Barths Savage attack.

They were left as a warning
to those of paradise
bow down to his army
or face the same fate.

Ivan Barth wanted Malcolm Barnes and Mark Lanier dead as well.

They went after Malcolm Barnes first
but Cynthia Vaupil would not let them have him.
She gave to him what was given to her by Karana Lavow,
and what Karana gave to Mark Lanier.

They fled together to the Gothic Enclave
where P.I. Ray James was tending bar and flirting with Dee Foster.
They watched as Malcolm Barnes and Cynthia Vaupil entered.
Dee Foster stopped Ray from calling the Police.
They retired to a back room where Dee Gave to him what he had wanted
for a long time. Dee Foster was not only the bar owner but she herself
was a Vampiress who lived a secret life as a mortal. Ray James was
now the Vampire P.I. of Paradise.

Mark Lanier and Karana Lavow soon arrived on the scene as well.

The police did as well in Dieter Kline, Tanya Price, and Derek Forrest.
They were there to record whatever happened for the Mortals who lived in Paradise
and for the eternal record.

Victor Cofield sat in his office. He beared his fangs, deciding to let the youngsters
settle the score and rid Paradise of Ivan Barth and his followers.
Of course Victor Cofield also was a vampire.

Ivan Barth sent his followers into the Gothic Enclave
Delgado Huet and Ramses Barrow arrived there
and quickly were sent packing.
They got into the Horror Taxi
on a one way ride on the highway to hell.
Cynthia and her Gargoyle Antonade watched from their perch on a hillside
overlooking the highway. They watched the Horror Taxi driven straight into an
Active Volcano. The Screams of Delgado Huet and Ramses Barrow haunted the night
sky of Paradise for the next hour.
Malcolm Barnes rejoined Cynthia and her Gargoyle, as they consumated the love
they felt for each other that night in the dark seclusion of Paradise's inner and
very underground Sanctum.

Ivan Barth and Karana Lavow fought in the Gothic Enclave.
Karana with her Katana sword strengthened by the presence of Mark Lanier.
He watched and he knew it was just a matter of time before Ivan Barth
was destroyed.
Karana sliced off one of Barth's clawed hands. Then cut into one of his wings.
Then it was over. Karana, Mark, Dee Foster, Ray James, Victor Cofield,
Malcolm Barnes, and Cynthia Vaupil all took pieces of Ivan Barth with them.
There was nothing left but his skeleton after the Vampire Rats had finished him
off outside. And when morning came the skeleton was burned into ash and became
part of the very sands of paradise.

Denise Gravestone did not get away.
The Gargoyles were dispatched and took care of her.

Karana Lavow was back in the position she belonged in
as the Vampiress who haunted paradise
with Mark Lanier, haunting paradise by her side.

Cynthia Vaupil and Malcolm Barnes, lived a more secluded life with the gargoyle
Antonade as their pet and protector.

While Dieter Kline wrote a best selling book called the Vampiress who haunted paradise,
Derek Forrest and Tanya Price left Paradise for parts unknown.
They had seen far too much in Paradise.
They would never forget its passion and pleasure
but they would also never forget the shroud of Darkness
that was part of the Paradise Night
