Subject: As yet untitled story part one

Well, I said I wanted to be a writer. I'll have nothing but a sledgehammer, if I don't grind my axe. A sledge just won't cut it. I would greatly appreciate any and all feedback on my work. Just drop me a line here or send me an email. If its crap, I need to know. Okie dokie, here we go... Abbygale saw the car backing out before it hit her. The same car whose driver had given her the go ahead to pass seconds earlier. Time seemed to hold its breath as the eyes saw and the brain knew what was coming. Abbygails foot opposite the car reached for pavement before impact. It seemed like the sound came first. Then the rough jerking movement as the bicycle tried to throw its rider. The outstreatched foot slid along the pavement, barely keeping its owner upright. Abby felt another jolt as the car stopped. When she could think clearly enough to realize that she was still upright, she looked around.
