I hear that! I live in dark sunglasses, total sun block, dark curtains on the windows. I have a lotta large plants so that provides shading as well.
My lifestyle is so that I've had to go mainstream, which means functioning during the day. But I need at least two night of nocturnal wondering in order to function during daylight hours the rest of the time.
But it's all good, babe, all good. I've studying with one of the foremost scholars of our times, Zen and Iaido, (Samurai), and if I'm not on my toes, that old bastard would kick my ass with one of those Wheatchopper moves of his. It's like a real live version of the Karate dude from the Pink Panther movies (needless to say, I drink ALOTTA coffee, just to stay on my toes.)
Picture this:
Waza drills: Arms over head with a live Katana sword over head (31 inches in just blade), practicing at least one hundred times, working up to five hundred a day. (This is only one cut, not including side cuts or under cuts.) Then the big W (sword master) walks around me, with a bokken (heavy wooden sword) and clocks me on the head with the dam thing if I don't do it right...Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, you remember that scene from Interview with a Vampire, where the little girl polishes off the piano teacher for smacking her knuckles with the ruler? Well, homeboy better make sure he doesn't suffer the same fate. (a good sword master are really hard to find, and besides...Shhhhhhhhhh, this would be my second one that I've drained, and well.. it ain't polite either...)
