Beware of the Geek Squad
Best Buys Computer technicians
they are incompetent
and Best Buys Computer Policy is totally Ridiculous
Okay these morons Junked my Computer
without my consent
they refused to fix it
because it would cost more then the computer was worth
I have the three year service plan, and one of the shipping
receipts
but they claim they need the receipt from the date of purchase to give me a new one
I got a three year service plan on it so it was covered
but first off the morons did not send it out to the repair shop the first time I was there.
I just found this out 11 days later on tuesday
when I went to pick up the portable hard drive I bought
to insure my information on both drives would be safe
such as all my music, video clips, pics and of course the writing files
Beware of the Geek Squad
well I found a 2nd shipping receipt and the yellow receipt
from the purchase
the whack thing about that
is the computer I bought had all these rebates
so the original sales receipt the white one
probably was all torn up because of the rebates
I got some garbled phone message today that was hard to understand
but anyway I was really pissed off at how the whole situation was handled.
in the 1st place three people looked at the system
and then all three forgot to ship it for repairs
but supposedly it is best buys policy in order for them to give me a new computer they have to have this sales reciept
stuff like that does not always survive more then two years
its weird though I had no problem with the computer or just minor difficulties in the two years I had my e-machines system
borrowing my Moms dell for the moment
anyway had to go to best buy anyway again today
to pick up a birthday gift for my uncle
but now have to go back tommorrow
