There will be a part of you that will never forget. August 5th will always be a day you will remember. My day is October 28....the day I was raped twice 22 years apart. I don't know how I will get through it this year, because the last one was last year, and the SOB is still in jail.

My former psychiatrist told me once that if I commit suicide I will leave a legacy that will last for generations. My daughters kids will remember me as "grandma who killed herself", and my daughters grandkids will know.....and it will go on and on through the generations. You are the first generation. Someday you will tell Dayel when she is grown......the cycle continues.

Use Lorne's voice as a comfort, not a hurt. Remember the good times....I know it's hard...you are still grieving. But one day, you will be ok with it. It is the "whys" that get us. We want to know why he did it.....why at that time, why did he not let anyone know. Once you get past the whys.....you may find peace.
