Subject: Mikki, you might like this as with others too...

Yester afternoon I experienced a moment of peace. I e-mailed my sister not only did I send a link to pictures of my elderly but ever so young cats, I told my sister of my moment of peace. My sister said that she calls that, "A holy instant". That is so neat.

I am sitting out on my terrace, with a mug or two of coffee, computer, and watching the sun come up this morning (6 a.m.). Shit surely does happen but good happens also. Would you like to see the pictures of my buddies… please Click here.

I can hardly wait… bad news is that I have accelerated degenerative diseases including macular degenerative eye disease. The last time it took a year for my eyes to worsen so that I needed new classes. This time it only took eight months. It will only be a few years before I am blind, which I knew is part of my medical condition. Good news… I'll have my new glasses in a day or two. I have been wearing magnifying drug store glasses for the last several days… ugh! Jeez, back before dirt, when I was about 35 years of age, an exam, frames, and the lenses cost me about $120. Now with reusing my frames, Medicare paying for most of my complete eye medical exam, I am paying $280 just for the lenses… jeez. I was looking at the new frames, from $180 to near $300. Man, am I lucky to at least have Medicare… at least until Dictator Bush cuts it out. He so hates traditional U.S. citizens.

RICHARD
