Subject: Physically not doing well... mental follows suit..

I am suffering malnutrition as the result of my hospital not being able / willing to treat my short bowel syndrome diet wise. I had lost 15 lbs and I cannot get it back yet. I now either have a virus or maybe an electrolyte imbalance greater than normally. I went to the docs today. Will be going for a ultrasound to see if I have a blood clot from getting a new med port. I lost my old one due to improper sterilizing 0F my old one by a nurse in emergency room at the time of my bicycle / deer accident. Blood was drawn today to check for virus or electrolyte imbalance.

The day of my new med port placement I did not wait until the set time for recovery in short stay medical unit, which is where I get my three time weekly hydration infusion. Last Wednesday at infusion they want me to sign a legal document saying I refused treatment. I did not sign it. Here I am malnourished, on strong pain killer, oral and pain patch on skin since Dec. 25, and they expect me to think and act normal. If they push it and refuse to infuse me tomorrow at infusion, I will leave and head for a lawyers office and “Americans with Disabilities Act.”

In meantime I like to share something with you. “Tech Depot” an online store for “Office Depot” has “Microsoft Office Professional” for $171.95. I got it for $163 plus tax & shipping. It is for noncommercial use. It can be put on three computers. The regular one is like $444 something. The upgrade is like $370 something. I waited until I got it installed to make sure I got it ‘in my hand’ working item to share this with you. If you are interested just type www.techdepot.com in your browser address bar and type Microsoft Office 2007 in their search bar.

I have been sleeping tons. I get up have a bagel and banana, go to back to bed. I get up to empty my pouch, go back to bed. I get up to empty my pouch, go back to bed. I went to the docs, came home, ate a bagel and banana, went back to bed. This is the longest that I have been up.

I am a wreck. I am not sure I if I want to continue. I cannot tell the nurses this tomorrow… they will want to stick my in the psyche ward.
