Hi Mikki, I have awful peripheral veins. God gave nurses at least one curse: my veins. When my veins see a needle coming they hide, they wiggle, they are curvy, and valves galore. That is why I most always get stuck two or three times to get a working one. That is like nine times a week. It won’t take long for them to scar out or collapse. The docs are not pushing for the groin area because it is not a clean place. I do not have an anus so that is not a factor. But, if I should have urinary infection that could be a problem. And there is the sweat thing. I am going to hope for reuse of the last two recent used veins before I do the emotional work to resign to the groin area. Thanks for the support big time. Saying rosaries for me… that is awesome. Me, I do not believe in sin, but I have been such a sinner in my past... me having some teaching to pass on. Why do I get such an honor?
