Subject: More stuff

It has been a strange day for sure. I have not done much of anything. The most I did was go up to Home Depot and got some towel racks and door lock. I spent some time doing up a ‘personal card’. I have six different ones now. I make kinda artsy like. I have different quotes on them.

It has been a icy day outside. My windows on my home ice covered… kinda neat looking. The roads were kinda nasty too. Hey, did you hear about the alcoholic who heard that all accidents happened within 25 miles of home? …. So he moved!

The weather channel is forecasting rainy, icy, snowing days for days to come. Wednesday will be the only sunny days. I doubt the pavement will be dry to ride my bike out at the park. I took my bike in for a post deer / bike accident checkup. It is fine. The handlebars needed straightening only. Friday I went to the nearby lake park and rode its six mile bike trail. I took it very easy. I stayed in the mid range gears and some low range gears mostly. I then walked a slow easy mile walk. My orthopedic surgeon said I could start out with riding around the block… my block was six miles around- . Saturday I went back out again. I work a tab bit harder this time, but just a little bit. Friday after riding and walking my right side with the fractured pelvis hurt some. However, afterwards on Saturday, I did not feel any pain from the exercise.

My sister and her husband just got back from his work / vacation trip to Florida. Eighty degrees and sunny down there. My sister gave me an “order” to take it easy on my biking and walking… jeez!

I have a little bit of an infection in my right arm mainly at the little insertion incision site. It will not be long before I ask my surgeon about possibly getting another port.

Well, that it is it.

I hope to hear from one or two or more of you. I hope good moments are coming your way, way often… way too often… ever so much as not to have time to bother coming here.

RICHARD
