Well, if are anything like me, you probably way to hard on yourself. This could be a contributor, among others, to the anger. Maybe, subconsciously you knew you weren’t going to quit smoking. Like, with all the stress you are under the saner part of you knew better than try that. The inaner part of you ran with the quilt associated with knowing you weren’t going to quit and made you very angry with yourself for not living up to a promise or deadline. And, that triggered all the anger, rage, frustration, feelings of revenge, etc that you have buried down in the pit of your stomach festering away… hell… being human… ain’t it.
