Dave, I think you ought to stay here. I do not think need to ask if others want you to stay. If you get boycotted and no longer get support then that you be the time to decide to leave… no sooner.

As for depression being an excuse for behavior of any kind, I have never used my depression for my misbehavior. I have had and still remnants of my personality disorder. It is or was very real. Some, some even in the medical psyche field say there is not much that can be done with a personality disorder except maybe medicate. I have changed my behavior much. I just do not buy depression being an excuse or reason for continuing misbehavior.
