Richard......I'm sorry I wasn't here to reply to your post. You have to remember that we are all in one state or another in depression, and some of us just don't have it in us to visit, or post sometimes. It doesn't mean that we don't care about your feelings.

My mom has just been diagnosed with a terminal illness. She has surgery today to try to keep the arteries in her legs open so she doesn't lose her legs. She has polyarteritis......an auto immune disease where antibodies attack her arteries. Even with steroids, it is fatal. Her arteries to her brain, her lungs, her kidneys, her liver, her gastrointestinal tract may all be affected here in the near future. I have been gone for 2 days, and I am now going back to Port Huron to be with her for her surgery.

So I haven't been around. I'm sorry you lost your friend. I know exactly how that feels with my losing my therapist. It hurts like hell.....but you gotta remember the good things you got from the relationship, and know that others will come along to help fill that void. Maybe you should get a dog like Ruby......dogs are alot of fun. Pain and Pest will have someone to play with. Like I said, I'm sorry I wasn't there for you......but I got alot on my plate right now. I am inches from the edge......
