Subject: Stuff... good stuff...

What a good day this day is. I sure wish that I had a whole body… even more maybe, a better functioning mentality. I went to my local computer store. There headquarters is in a near by city… homegrown computers. I was just checking on something with my “Acer” laptop. Of course, I had to window shop… yep… brand new computer! <img src="http://www.richarddw.net/art/gaze-richard2.gif"> Lighter, faster, easier viewing display screen, much longer battery run time. I was actually looking forward t a smaller screen for a lighter machine and longer batter run. The sales person mistaking thought I wanted a 15” display screen… God was at work… this is so much better. My nephew is getting my old one, which is top of the line in its own right. A 900 dollar machine, extra battery & power supply, extra memory… $200… he got a deal. Poor, poor guy… he’s getting married on the 26th of this month… ball & chain, life over, no rest ever again, …. Just kidding. I bet he is going to have a good partnership.

The past 18 mornings or so, it has been too warm and way too humid for me to be able to go the park to do my fun filled workout, with my medical condition. Yester morning, I awoke at 4 a.m. to go, but was just too weak to go. I went to my usual time IV hydration infusion and to the coffee house later. This morning I was up to it. The park I go to is a tri-county park. There is a off shoot bike path that goes 4-1/2 out. That part of state park is so neat. It has big meadows, pine forests, long but not so steep hills, a flock of turkeys, and so on. I rode twice around the lake then took the off shoot. The off shoot is a bit of an easier ride, but altogether, I rode about 26-1/2 miles. Of course, I walk my four miles also. I think that is not bad for a 60 old and not do a workout for almost three weeks. I am a bit sore, but the good kind of sore. I am so darn grateful that I can hardly stand it. I feel so darn good at the moment… this shall pass too… but enjoying it while it lasts. Please no warnings… just help me enjoy what I can do. I am most taking care of myself… really am.

So thanks for being here for me, for all of us.
