Very inspirational.

Today has been the opposite for me so far. I went to bed near midnight, tired, and I wanted to wake up about 8:30 but I could not get out of bed until 9:30. I fed the pets and made coffee and lay on the sofa under a blanket while it was dripping. Buffy got under the blanket and my feet and Puck got on my chest and went to sleep and the next thing I knew it was 11 a.m. I can't believe I needed that much sleep.

Of course tomorrow I will be waking up at 6 a.m. for work as I must all week.

I have a free day today, kids have gone off for the day with their dad to visit their aunt and load firewood (from trees felled by last year's hurricane Rita). The mf (manfriend) is working and playing ball. This aloneness usually freaks me out but I think I can be OK with a day at home. I may go to the grocery store later and I will take Buffy for her walk. We walk for 30 minutes about 5 or 6 nights a week, it's good for both of us.

It is tax free weekend, and I might decide to buy some shoes too, although I don't absolutely need any. But it is a cheap spirit boost and I saw some cute ones when I was shopping with my daughter on Friday. If I get two new pairs and give two older ones to charity, I am doing a good deed too. Right?! :)

Liz
