Why don't you get away for a day? Come down and visit me. We will do something. My mom died by choice. My mom had emphysema at about 60 years of age. The docs told her she could live another 10 to 15 years if she would quit smoking. Mom said she rather die happy and she did… die that is… mom was not a happy person in the least. After two years of worsening, she ended up in the hospital on support. She chose to remove the support and die. The family was there, they tried calling me. My phone line was down. I had I complained in vain several times to the phone company. The next day I called… they were out there in 20 minutes and replace all the outside wiring. I was still on the oust with most of my family… they could have driven over to my house five minutes away. I went from just drinking beer to drinking boiler makers… a mug of beer with a shot of liquor in it. My then first therapist happened to be at the point of dictating that I go to A.A. for my birthday or stop seeing her. Saved my life.

Oops, sorry Mikki… touched my heart. Come to visit, please.
