Well,, after reading your post, I'm glad yesterday is gone too......LOL. I'm glad you got your port cleaned out. I had a girlfriend who passed away a few years ago from kidney failure. She had no kidneys.....rejected the two transplants she did have. But in doing peritoneal dialysis, her ports would get infected with yeast....a really hard bug to get rid of. Vancomycin is the best medicine you could have gotten. It is the strongest, and is an antibiotic of last resort. If there are ever vancomycin resistant bacteria coming...we are all doomed.

I won't take your bike chain away...not yet anyway. I just care about you and your health. I don't want to see you over do it....your body can't take that extra stress. Especially given how much you ride and walk. Just talking to you as a friend and a medical professional.

Now that I am back from Florida, and Lyndsey goes home on Monday....I can be free for our lunch sometime. I will look forward to it.
