Subject: A card I found

While I was looking for a goodbye card for Lyndsey, I ran across a card that struck me hard. The card said on the front "sometimes we find in our lives that it is more painful to stay as a tight bud, than it is to blossom."

The card was blank inside, and I sent it to my former therapist. I wanted him to know that I had gotten to the acceptance stage in the grief and loss process. Jim told me today that if I truly was at the acceptance stage, I wouldn't have felt the need to send the card. But I am trying......one day I will be there. I just thought the card was so perfect for what I was going through.

So are you tight bud, or a blossom?
