Sorry to hear you are not doing too well right now Richard. Remember, this too shall pass.

I think what you may be looking for is a duplex, not a condo. You might even buy one and rent out the other half. Or perhaps you can own just a half, I'm not sure.

Don't take the broker's absence personally. At least someone else was there to show you some properties. Our expectations create our disappointments.

But there are lots of brokers out there, so if you aren't satisfied with your treatment, you could easily work with someone else. Of course, the seller pays the commission, so never believe the broker is completely on your side.

I hope you cycle back up soon. Maybe later, after some rest, you will feel more like getting out a bit.
