Sam-e came out around the same time of all the hype about St. John's Wort. It was supposed to be the ultimate cure for depression.....from what I heard from people who tried it, it didn't do anything for them. I'm surprised it is still around.

But if you believe in those herbal remedies..it may work. Believing that your meds are working is half the battle I think. I myself stick to traditional medicine. You never know what is in those alternative remedies.
