Subject: Off to the animal hospital

This would be a lot easier if he was acting sick today, but he isn't. He's walking around here meowing and wondering why I won't give him some food. He's fine for the moment. It's hard to take him over there knowing what he's getting ready to go through when he isn't acting sick. But he isn't having any bowel movements either so it's just a matter of time until he's sick and miserable again and the doctor didn't want me to wait until that point again because it would make his job harder. Still, seeing Toupe' acting fine makes it really hard to leave him at the animal hospital. I'm just so afraid that something will go wrong and he'll die or something. Then I'll think I did the wrong thing. Having pets is just like having kids. You want the best for them and you try your best to take care of them but when something goes wrong you wonder if you're doing the right thing and if there was something more you could have done.

I'm a nervous wreck. This is my baby.
