Know that Toupe' will eat eventually. The surgery scars probably hurt him some, and that will cause him not to eat. Keep a good eye on him like you have been. He will eat when he is feeling better.

My new puppy Ellie isn't a good eater either. I've spent tons of money trying different dog foods to entice her to eat. I can see her ribs, and I know that isn't good. I've resorted to adding a scoop of Alpo in her dry food to get her to eat. She will eat some of it, but then she gets the runs from the Alpo, and since she isn't quite potty trained, I have a mess on my hands. She does get into Shadow's bowl sometimes, and since she is pooping everyday, she is eating something. I have to take her to the vet this week to get her 3rd set of puppy shots. I'll ask the vet about this eating thing. It makes me nervous.

I have been an emotional mess this weekend. I am trying to clean my pigsty of a house for the arrival of our guests on Wednesday. I paid one of Sarahs girlfriends to do the majority of the work. I get very paralyzed when I get overwhelmed with stuff. I just can't seem to get organized to do anything. So the girls got alot done yesterday, but there is so much more to do. I am nervous about them coming, how am I going to keep them occupied? I have doctors appointments, work, and a bunch of other errands to do. Do I drag them around with me? I don't know. I'm wondering if this is a good idea or not, but it is too late to back out. They paid for their tickets and they are coming. I am hoping to be able to talk mom into staying at a hotel to have a comfortable place to sleep. It grosses me out to have her sleep on my old nasty couch that all the animals sleep on. Even with a sheet on the couch, it still grosses me out. I am worried......

Love, Mikki
