If it helps any Richard.....I am alone on Memorial Day too. Mike spends all his time working at the shop we own, and I never see him. I have to work that day too...so we won't be doing anything. I know you feel alone, but I feel alone and I have a family living in my house. Everyone is doing their own thing, and we never spend any quality time together. We eat and sleep here, but that is it. It hurt me, and I know that is why I tend to get attracted to people other than my husband, because I feel so lonely in my own house.

So you are not alone my friend. Remember it is another day, and say a prayer for all the men lost in all the wars we have had. Say a prayer for Dave....for he may be participating in a parade, the first for him in acknowledging the accolades he deserves for his service in Vietnam. Say a prayer for our boys in Iraq, that will make Memorial day the day that it was meant to be. No barbeques, trips to the campground and all that other stuff that people do on holidays. Remember the veterans, that is all you need to do, and we can all do that alone.

Love, Mikki
