I know that this can be a shock when it happens, but we do have to remember, that no matter what we may think and how much we depend on them to make us well, Doctors, are only human too.

I have been through a few, that did not have the experience with severe depression, admitted and told me they didn't think they would be qualified. It took a few tries, to find the ones, that had the experience and are willing to take on a High Risk patient.

I hope you find one soon, that can be there for you. For me, I have one doctor for the day to day stuff...and one doctor just for my depression.

Therapist can be the same, and most do "specialize" in minor and major illnesses. For me, getting in touch with the local mental health authority and getting a recommendation from them, really helped alot.

Take care girl...
Hugs
Rhonda
