He also told me that the Catholic church was psychologically damaging to me as well. He said that the tenents of the church force us to believe we are all sinners, and make us feel bad about ourselves. He asked me how involved I was in the church.....I told him that I don't let guilt get to me...if I break a major rule of the church I go to confession and get rid of it and forget it.
I don't let the church make me feel guilty about anything.

He told me he was Jewish......the Jews and the Catholics have very differing views on Christ.....maybe that was part of the reasoning he wouldn't take me on. I didn't care if he was jewish...religion wasn't a part of my problem. Obviously it was to him.

I'm feeling better about it though. It was a hit last night, but I'm ok with it. Maybe I don't need therapy for a while....maybe it has been too long, and I am using it as a crutch. It's when I get suicidal that I need someone.
So he did "wimp" out, but at least he was honest with me. He very well could have just taken my money and not helped me. I guess I should be thankful for that.

Love, Mikki
