I remember a Paul from early days - he didn't send me his views on the very first Golden Quin (or shitter as it was known then) did he? I remember someone called Paul commending my choice of John Hall, then of Newcastle, at the time. in those days it was just me, Cormac and this Paul fellow.

Ah well, my mistake for welcoming him as a new poster. At least I welcomed him, so that's alright, then.

Anyway, why assume as a first recourse that I was having a dig at you earlier as regards messageboard etiquette? Indeed, I remember getting a right kicking for having a row with someone about my use of the Wurzels to illustrate a Bath match. I was virtually accused of racism as I recall, although maybe the objection wasn't meant to come across that way at the time, but that's how it did come across. I wasn't particularly friendly in my response and I'm not sure if the poster ever came back. Maybe he did, and if he did, I apologise in retrospect for being so arsey to him, whoever he was.

This really is turning into the Sunbury Centre Truth and Reconcilation Commission. Can't we get Username back to stir things up again?
