OK, I'm back again.

Don't think that I hang on every word on this board or even this thread. I've been watching Tigers vs Falcons and it is a serious advert for soccer, so I'm bored with it.

But you guys must be having a laff, surely?

Those of you that know me will remember that I spent two rewarding years as membership secretary of the LISC. OK, maybe I was crap at it (and Mr Madigan is doing a much better job at it than I was able to do) but if anyone was going to know people, surely it was me?

Yet I have absolutely no idea who Shawshank is, who Dom Pedro is, who "oddshapedball" is. And I know just a little about PeterS, but not sure I would recognise him, or he would recognise me.

And althgough I know who SteveS is (and OxonRob, and Alec, and Loobs), SteveS clearly doesn't have a clue who I really am - he thought I was a Reading4 man yet in truth I started standing on the bank at Sunbury as long ago as 1990!

So what the f-ck is this all about deleting anonmous posters? Anonymous to whom?

You are in serious danger of creating a members-only club, with the four members that Cath knows post here blackballing anyone they don't know.

And yes, that was how the SC was becoming - either you were in (got the jokes (term used very loosely!), and knew that the slagging off wasn't real) or you weren't.

No doubt there will some comments that I am again posting under my "real" name. Eh? I spent three years posting as Pete Sake for Pete's sake! But all I am trying to do is give my opinion on what needs to change for an old SC-like board to rise from the wreckage of the SC.

The last remaining posters on the SC wrecked it - they managed to drive everyone else away and until they accept it the same will happen again.
