According to the show, Jason is just the most wonderful, noble, selfless person who never lies and is the best friend, boyfriend, and father that there ever was. He rescues little babies and decides whether the kidnappers should do jail time or not because he is the best one to judge any situation.

Forget the pesky detail of him being a cold blooded killer. He rescued a baby so all is forgotten. It's so sad that a mob enforcer is the hero of GH.
